According to Sigmaintell, research data show that China's seven major brands of panel procurement volume are nearly 7.46 million units in March, an increase of 2.4% YoY. Because of the loose global LCD TV panel supply and demand environment in Second-quarter, panel prices maintain the downward trend, and under the impact of Samsung, LGE and other top brands' continued canceling orders, Chinese TV brands are expected to prepare for the "6.18", but on the other hand, maintain a conservative procurement strategy overall.

The Chinese market was affected by the epidemic and the trapped condition of the logistics of the supply chain, the "social dynamic clearing" epidemic prevention policy continued, so the economic development faced more severe challenges. Unemployment and inflation levels in the Chinese market continue to be high, and consumer purchasing power has been hit more severely, with weak consumer momentum. Overseas markets are affected by the war, inflation, and other factors, demand also showed a declining trend. According to the statistics of Sigmaintell, the seven major brands in China shipped 7.19 million TVs in March, down 9.4% YoY; among them, 4.64 million units were shipped for export, down 12% YoY, and 2.55 million units were shipped for domestic sales, down 3.7% YoY. The total shipments of 7 major brands in China in the first quarter were 8.4 million units, a slight increase of 4.3% from last year's low basis, but still below expectations. The Chinese market will usher the "618" in Q2, driven by the continued decline in panel costs, the market is expected to welcome a small increase, but due to the impact of the epidemic consumption power decline, the overall increase is limited.
