Looking at the procurement situation of CN brands in Oct, on the panel supply side, on the one hand, panel makers continued to reduce production, and capacity continued to converge. In order to achieve the goal of stopping the decline in panel prices, the prices of certain sizes of panels will usher in an inflection point, resulting in increased demand for brand stocking at a low price; On the demand side, leading Chinese brands, including MI/Hisense/TCL/Skyworth, were actively stocking up for "11.11". After some brands were in the inventory control process, the inventory level is healthy. The second-tier agents were hoarding goods and other factors. Most brand makers maintained a high level of panel procurement, and their procurement strategies were clearly differentiated from those of global brands. According to the survey data of Sigmaintell, the panel purchase volume of CN TOP7 brands in Oct was 8.9 million, a YoY increase of 29%.  However, due to the lower-than-expected market demand for “11.11”, other brands except Hisense/TCL did not perform well. Driven by this trend, top brand makers in Q4 are expected to gradually reduce their procurement requirements to avoid operational risks brought about by an increase in inventory once again. At the same time, the recovery trend of large-size demand is obvious during the promotion season, and the demand for 75" and above products has recovered strongly, which has led to an adjustment in the pace of panel size procurement, stabilizing large-size purchases, and reducing the demand for small and medium-sized purchases.
